ENDURANCE & STRENGTH

Dear Father, please help me during this difficult time. Please give me the strength to persevere under the pressure I am facing. Through Your word, give me encouragement and motivation not to give up and build a great testimony to Your goodness through me. Let me find great strength and courage from Your Holy Spirit living in me and give me the hope that comes from knowing that You are in control of everything. Lord, please bring other Christians my way who will help me carry this load and will encourage me to persevere no matter what life brings me. I will be sure to thank You and honor You in this, amen.

Dear Lord, please help me in the area of patience. Show me Father, the benefit of waiting on You and Your will for my life. Give me the patience to deal with the situations that I go through on and off the field/court. By Your Holy Spirit, help develop in me this fruit of the spirit so others will see my patience and want to be like me because I am acting like You. Give me the wisdom to understand what is important to oversee, and what is better to overlook. Please give me a heart like Jesus, who although he was mistreated and misunderstood, did not let anger rule his life but dealt with people with love and caring. In Your name I pray, amen.

Dear Lord, I know that You give strength to the weary and power to the faint. I am in need of Your strength right now. I am really struggling with so many things and am very discouraged. Please fill me with Your Holy Spirit and give me courage and faith to get through this difficult time. Please strengthen me through Your word and drive it strongly into my heart. Father, please bring others around me to encourage me and strengthen my heart. Please help me not to give up but to keep fighting and pressing on even in these dark days I am facing. I pray all these things in Jesus’ name, amen.

Heavenly Father, I am undergoing some very serious trials at this time. Please strengthen me in Your faith so I can stand up under these difficulties. Through Your spirit living in me, please give me the courage I need to overcome the trials I am facing. Inspire me Lord, with the words from Your Holy Bible to keep fighting and not give up. Speak to me words that would help me persevere under the pressure I am facing. Father, please bring me good friends who will lift me up and walk beside me as I go through these trials. Please draw me close to You and let me feel Your love and support. In Your name I pray, amen.

Dear Lord, You see all things and You know all things. I know that You are aware of the suffering that I am going through right now. Please give me relief from this struggle and replace it with hope and peace. Please bring Your word to life in my heart and help me to walk in faith in the midst of this difficult time. Father, please surround me with good friends who will help me carry the load of suffering I am dealing with. Through Your spirit working in my heart, please give me joy even though I am hurting so badly. I ask all these things in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, amen.

Almighty God, I come to You asking You to help me experience the victory I can have in You. Please draw me to a closer relationship with You and allow me to have all the joy and peace that comes from following You in everything I do. Help me to understand that victory comes in the Lord, not with a ball on a field. When I face difficulties and obstacles Lord, please draw me to You and Your word. Please show me how to live by Your holy Bible and give me a heart of obedience to what Your word reveals. Father, please bring people into my life who can give me godly direction and advice regarding living a victorious life in You and draw me into a community of believers who are running my race to win for You. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Dear Father, I am worn out. I give countless hours a week to work on my craft and to help my team. Please give me the strength and energy I need to live the life You’ve called me to. I know that You give rest to the weary and strength to the faint hearted. Help me to rest well surrounded by Your peace and safety. Please provide me with moments of rest and refreshment. Help me to eat well so my body can be re-energized and ready for my athletic performance. Father, please remove me from all the things that are weighing me down and wearing me out. Give me great strength and refreshment from Your word and those around me. In the name of the Living Water, amen.

Dear God, please help me overcome the difficulties I am now facing. Please give me the wisdom and strength I need to deal with everything in the proper way and help me to have the perseverance to follow through and not give up. Father, show me from Your word all the examples of Your people who struggled so much but kept going and experienced Your victory. Bring into my life those who will help me to be strong and courageous and give me special ability to overcome all these obstacles. I pray that when I do overcome it, I will lift up Your name and give You praise. In Your name I pray, amen.

Dear God, I am in great pain right now. I know that You are the Great Physician and that all things are possible with You. Please help me at this time. Please give me the endurance I need to get through this pain and help me to heal from my injury(s). Please give wisdom to the doctors, nurses, trainers, and all those in charge of my care so they might treat me in a way that would relieve me from the pain I feel. Please strengthen my body so I can overcome the damage that has been done to me. Help me to look to You for help and special healing during this difficult time. In the name of Christ, I pray, amen.
