VIRTUES & GODLY ATTRIBUTES

Heavenly Father, You have blessed me deeply with enough resources to be able to share with others. Please help me develop a genuine heart of generosity. Thank You for giving me the platform I have on the field/court and allow me to shine my light through them. Show me how much I’ve been blessed and give me a desire to bless others as well. Help me to grow into a cheerful giver and continually bring opportunities my way in order to exercise the act of giving. Let me experience the joy of giving and show me the difference it makes when someone blesses another. Please bring others my way who have a generous heart and give me the desire to follow their example. I ask all these things in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, amen.

Almighty Father, please give special guidance to me. Give me the wisdom I need to make the right decisions on and off the field/court. Please show me Your word and what You desire me to do. Through Your Holy Spirit working in my heart, show me the best choices to make. Please surround me with people of wisdom. Bring those people into my life to speak truth and godly advice. Help me understand Your will for me and give me the ability to follow Your lead in directing my life. Allow me to understand that my identity is not in the sport I play, but in You. I pray I will find great peace in following Your will each and every day in all the decisions I make. All these things I ask in the name of God, amen.

Dear Heavenly Lord, please speak my heart and mind. Please give me the desire to honor You on and off the field/court. Let my life be a life of worship and praise to Your holy name. May I see every day as a new day and a new way to please You and bring You honor. May my life be a living testimony of Your goodness and grace working in my life and may those who know me lift up Your name in praise and glory. Help me to obey Your word and live the life that brings glory to You and leads others to follow You in obedience. In the name of Jesus, my Lord and Savior, amen.

Dear Father, please help me and my team live in harmony with each other. I know You desire for our team to love one another and to work with each other in an understanding way. Instill in us Father, a love that is bigger and greater than the love they have for each other right now and draw us closer to each other as we draw closer to You. Help us to be patient and kind to one another and give us a forgiving spirit with each other when we grow frustrated. Let us be one even as the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are one and let harmony rule and reign in our hearts and minds. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray, amen.

Dear Heavenly Father, I am in great need of hope. Please hold me close to You and strengthen my hope in You. By the truths of Your Scripture, show me the hope that can be mine by trusting in You. Remind me Lord, of the struggles You have brought me through and give me the hope and confidence to perform in faith. Father, please bring me words of encouragement from those I come in contact with and let me find renewed strength day by day as I rely on Your Spirit, Your word, and Your children to guide me and carry me through. In the name of Jesus the Christ I pray, amen.
